Adeola Akinwale is a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Drone Technology Analyst, as well as a Chartered Surveyor certified by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in the United Kingdom. She holds dual master’s degrees: one in Environmental Informatics from the University of Leicester and another in Environmental Mapping from University College London.

With over a decade of experience, Adeola has a proven track record in leveraging geospatial data, geoprocessing tools, and drone technology to enhance business outcomes. Her expertise spans spatial analysis, project management, and business intelligence across various sectors. Adeola excels at executing complex projects under tight timelines and budgets, delivering high-quality solutions that drive strategic growth and client satisfaction. Notably, she led a significant mapping project in Lagos, Nigeria, covering 3,600 square kilometers using cutting-edge drone technology.

Adeola is also the founder of SheFlies, an inspiring online community dedicated to nurturing and empowering the next generation of young minds in STEM, with a special focus on the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drone) industry. Through SheFlies, she aims to cultivate early interest in drone technology, particularly among females, encouraging them to explore opportunities in STEM-related fields.

She achieves this through mentorship, comprehensive training, and engaging activities designed to spark curiosity and foster innovation. Adeola’s vision is to bridge the gender gap in STEM and empower young individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their careers, ensuring they are well-equipped to make meaningful contributions to their industries.
